The Blind Beer Runner Takes On Western States
Ultra runner, beer aficionado and motivational speaker Kyle Roubidoux will be the first visually impaired runner to compete at the Western States Endurance Run on 6/29. Kyle, a Topo Ambassador and sponsored by Clif, has a team of sighted guides (including Bay Area locals and ultra rock star Scott Jurek) to get him from Squaw to Auburn.
Transports is proud to have Kyle as a guest and talk about all things ultra, from training to recovery tips, and accessibility as a legally blind runner. There will be a Q&A to ask about ultra running or how to become a guide for visually impaired runners in your community.
